At Black Hawk Equine, we are proud to operate out of two beautiful facilities, conveniently located just minutes apart in Denton, Maryland. Spanning a combined 20 acres, our properties are thoughtfully designed to support a wide range of training, riding, and horsemanship needs in a safe and welcoming environment.
Between the two locations, we offer 10 total stalls, round-the-clock camera monitoring, and the added peace of mind of having dedicated team members living on-site 24/7. This ensures that every horse in our care receives constant supervision, personalized attention, and a secure, structured environment—day and night.

Black Hawk Home Base - Baker Rd.
Our Baker Road location is the heart of Black Hawk Equine—a quiet, private 10+ acre farm designed with both horses and humans in mind. This facility features 5 oversized stalls, each with attached private runs, offering horses the comfort of indoor-outdoor living.
Amenities include a hot/cold wash stall, climate-controlled tack room and bathroom, and a peaceful grass arena perfect for foundational work and low-stress schooling. Horses enjoy individualized care with access to 4 separate turnout fields, each connected to dry lots and run-in sheds, ensuring safe and flexible turnout in all weather.
Shorebilly Stables - Garey Rd.
Shorebilly Stables serves as our primary lesson and training facility, set on a well-maintained 9+ acre property just minutes from our home base. Designed for both functionality and safety, this location includes 5 stalls, a secure tack room, and a separate hay storage barn.
Turnout options include two large fields and three smaller paddocks, all enclosed with new horse-safe fencing and electric braid. A run-in shed provides added shelter in the smaller paddocks, ensuring comfort no matter the weather.
The property also features a spacious sand arena with an attached round pen, offering plenty of room to work and grow with your horse.
